Into the Peacefulness : ESSAOUIRA MOGADOR

the most serene and tranquil cities in Morocco, attracting global travelers year-round seeking the perfect blend of surfing and good music. The Gnawa festival, in particular, draws even more visitors, creating an ideal atmosphere for an unforgettable experience. We extend an invitation to book a one-day tour with us to Essaouira, providing an opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech for a while and immerse yourself in the laid-back ambiance of Essaouira.

Our journey begins at 8 o’clock in the morning from Marrakech, embarking on a scenic drive to Essaouira. En route, you’ll witness the picturesque Moroccan countryside, offering stunning views and glimpses of the abundant Argan trees lining the roadsides. We’ll pause for a while, allowing you ample time to capture the beauty of the surroundings. If luck is on our side, we might even spot goats feasting on Argan trees. Following this, we’ll visit a Women’s cooperative, providing insights into the process of crafting cosmetics and oil from Argan nuts. You’ll have the option to purchase Argan Oil and Amlou, a delightful paste made with honey, almonds, and Argan oil.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, a guided tour awaits, exploring its rich historical sites, wandering through the vibrant Medina, and strolling the colorful narrow streets. We’ll also visit the port, observing the daily activities of the fishermen, and explore the 15th-century Squala fortress, historically vital for protecting the city from invaders. The fortress also served as a notable filming location for Game of Thrones and other TV shows. After an enriching exploration, we’ll take a break for lunch. The remaining time is yours to enjoy, whether for swimming, surfing, or a leisurely stroll along the seashore. Our return to Marrakech is scheduled for 7 o’clock in the evening, allowing you to continue with your evening activities after experiencing the beauty of one of North Africa’s most captivating cities.
